| The Astaroth is a fast new fighter in the Shivan fleet, and is somewhat of an oddity compared to the other fighters. The Astaroth has a weak hull, with paper-thin armour and substandard shielding as well making it very vulnerable to allied fighters. Its single laser weapon is potent, yet it remains relatively undergunned. Analysts believe its true nature is as a strike fighter, or interceptor, which relies on a large missile loadout to dispatch allied fighters and bombers and escape before it comes into prolonged combat. |
