| The Myrmidon is the new Terran Superiority Fighter, designed to replace the older Ulysses. The new design emphasises the craft's role in longer engagements, relying on a massive primary weapons bank for firepower rather than expendable munitions. The new reactors to power the weapon systems are quite bulky, and as such the Myrmidon needed to be more durable to sustain the damage which would result from its larger and more easily hittable profile. |
