| With many Orions still in service after the Great War, the GTVA was not about to abandon these venerable ships to the mothballs when the Shivans could return at any time. Instead the Orion has been retrofitted with advanced weaponry, including heavy beam weaponry. Its anti-ship firepower is greater than even the newer Hecate Destroyer, with powerful broadside to both port and starboard. Though it is far more vulnerable to fighter and bomber attacks. |
