| First encountered in Gamma Draconis, the Rakshasa is the common Shivan attack cruiser. Though not as heavily armed as the Lilith, the Rakshasa mounts three times the firepower of the Cain Class. All three of its Anti-Proton Beams fire into the foreward arc for maximum concentration of firepower. Its anti-fighter defences are strong, but not exceptional, following the Shivan doctrine of relying of their fighters for intercept. In numbers, the Rakshasa is easily a threat for the allied Corvettes such as the Deimos. |
