| Introduced several years after the incident in Capella, the Saphah is a GTVA design based upon the flagship for the now-defunct Neo Terran Front, the Iceni. The ship is built upon the same frame but includes new systems such as more powerful Vasudan-designed reactors. This allows it to mount a total of four anti-ship beam weapons with two to either side. This gives the new frigate class the nickname of 'pocket destroyer', with the firepower of an Orion on a Corvette-sized vessel. The Saphah also includes numerous anti-fighter turrets. |
